Fake Survey Scammers on YouTube Have Terrible OpSec Skills

Scammers running fake survey operations lack technical skills to keep infrastructure private. Researchers were able to see how long the host server was used for this type of activity. They noticed that the server hosted multiple domains and the fraudulent activity began around September 18, 2017. To make their activity believable, scammers often impersonate web pages of popular companies. By running massive campaigns, crooks can rake in a profit and start other campaigns. If an iPhone is presented as a prize, they will show a fake Apple page page.
