Facebook has removed four networks of accounts, pages and groups on the Facebook and Instagram platforms. Three of these networks were linked to Iran and one from Russia, the company says. The Russian-linked network appeared to be better funded and to have links to Russias Internet Research Agency. The removal of these pages comes as Facebook, as well as other social media platforms, are under increasing scrutiny by elected officials in the U.S. and elsewhere for how bad actors and trolls are using technology to spread misinformation.”]
