Facebook plumps security features with HTTPS, CAPTCHA solution

Facebook is adding HTTPS and CAPTCHA security features to its accounts. The move comes a day after Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook page was hacked. The social network will be adding HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) and “social authentication” The move is a great step, according to researchers with security firm Sophos, with the one exception of the opt-in nature of the feature. Several Facebook members posted comments about the announcement on the social network’s account security page, which is found in the “Account Security” section.”]
