Facebook removed 265 Facebook and Instagram accounts, Facebook Pages, Groups and events for fake behavior originating from Israeli commercial entity Archimedes Group. The company is a repeat offender of Facebook’s multiple policies, including the one for misrepresentation, and engaged multiple times in coordinated inauthentic behavior. It disseminated information on political topics like elections in various countries, candidate views and criticism of political opponents. Since December 2012, the offender spent about $812,000 for ads on Facebook. The latest promotion was recorded in April 2019.
