Facebook has lost over $60 billion in market value over the past two days over Cambridge Analytica scandal. Mark Zuckerberg has apologized for the social media giant’s failure to prevent privacy of its users. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said it was a mistake to allow third-party developers to access users’ data. Facebook’s API at the time let the app also collect a wide range of information about each authorized user’s friends. It would be a good time now to revisit those apps you have granted permission to access your Facebook data and completely revoke them.
