Exploit kit targeting zero-day vulnerability in Flash Player

The Angler Exploit Kit has started targeting new vulnerability in Adobe’s Flash Player. The zero-day was observed during a drive-by-attack, and the payload is focused on Internet Explorer. The attack targets Windows XP (IE versions 6-9), Windows 7 (IE 8), and Windows 8 (IE 10) However, Windows 8.1 isn’t being targeted, and Chrome users are also being ignored by the payload. A spokesperson from Adobe said that the company is aware of the reports and investigating the claims.”]
