Email service provider Epsilon may have been hit by a targeted spear-phishing campaign, ITNews reports. Epsilon and Silverpop, another email service provider recently disclosed a breach, were both victims of a series of social-engineering attacks directed specifically against email service providers. Email service providers like Epsilon are big targets of hackers because they control very large databases containing names and email addresses.
