Elder Scrolls Online Targeted by Cybercrooks Hunting In-Game Loot

Crooks posing as developers posing as Elder Scrolls Online users warning of security issue. They’re telling users they have 15 minutes to fill in account details or be blocked from the game. Phishing gambit is ultimately aimed at stealing in-game goods to sell on the Dark Web. Experts say real-money trading is growing in the video game industry, an industry that is ripe for malicious financial gain. Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) is always a good idea too, experts say.
