Edward Snowden and “Bunnie” Huang have designed a phone-mounted battery case that monitors the phones cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth activity. They hope to build a real-world prototype over the next year, and no doubt if it there is enough interest we might see at-risk journalists and activists use it.
