EBay faces a class action suit in a U.S. federal court over a security breach earlier this year. The consumer privacy class action lawsuit was filed Wednesday by Collin Green, a citizen of the state of Louisiana. The company did not immediately notify its customers when it first became aware of the February 2014 security breach and instead waited to inform customers until after the news had leaked out of the company. The combined claims of the proposed class members exceed US$5 million exclusive of interest and costs.”]
