Mountain View police are looking for a white adult male with white hair that crashed a drone into high-voltage power lines on Thursday night, June 8. The incident plunged hundreds of homes into darkness, including City Hall and the city s main library. Police say the suspect realized he d be in trouble and fled the scene in a white hatchback. The drone burst into flames after getting too close to the wires, crashing to the ground and melting on the street below. Authorities said the incident caused damages of tens of thousands of dollars.
