Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) recently implemented a business continuity and disaster recovery plan for the Los Angeles International Airport. The organization conducted a tabletop exercise on what would happen if an earthquake struck LAX. Dominic Nessi, deputy executive director and CIO of LAWA, talks about these efforts. He says LAX will have to conduct tabletop exercises on a regular basis to validate the effectiveness of each updated plan and address any gaps that have been uncovered in the plan.
