DOJ Asks DreamHost to Reveal IP Addresses of All Who Visited Anti-Trump Website

The site was used to organize anti-Trump protests in Washington, D.C. on January 20. The government issued a search warrant on July 12 to find out who visited the site. The warrant would have required the site to hand over 1.3 million IP addresses. The search warrant is expected to be issued on August 18, but the government has refused to give it all. The site is a legal center for the Electronic Frontier Foundation. The DOJ and DreamHost will go head-to-head over the issue.
