Security is an investment that takes a lot of discipline for brands because its invisible until something goes wrong. Brands prioritize getting products to market, pushing features, and increasing sales more than adding in authentication processes. Security measures should be part of usability testing for every product, and, we, the security community, should strive to implement easier to use security measures. There are mobile apps that will help with the security versus usability argument, as well as Apple has done a good job at implementing this with their touch ID.”]
