Department of Homeland Security warns Anonymous Hackers about potential attacks. Security bulletin warns financial services companies to be on the lookout for attackers operating under the Anonymous umbrella. #RefRef is said to be capable of using server’s resources and processing power to conduct a denial of service attack against itself. Operation Facebook a November 11 protest targeting the social media site for its alleged privacy violations, and Project Mayhem, scheduled for Dec 21, 2012. Anonymous has said it plans to use new tools that Anonymous says it will use in future attacks.
