Sergiy P. Usatyuk, a man operating several DDoS-for-hire services was sentenced to 13 months in prison, and additional three years of supervised release. The man was sentenced on one count of conspiracy to cause damage to internet-connected computers for launching millions of DDoS attacks. He made over $550,000 from charging subscriber fees to paying customers of their booter services, as well as selling advertising space to other booter operators. ExoStresser.in and Betabooter.com were used by one of the subscribers to the service in November 2016 to hit the school district in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, with a series of attacks.”]
