DDoS Attacks Go Down 60% Across Europe Following WebStresser’s Takedown

DDoS mitigation firm Link11 says DDoS attacks fell 60% after WebStresser’s takedown. The DDoS-for-hire service was shut down last week. The company says the slowdown in DDoS activity is only temporary, and new DDoS services will fill the gap. Europol said WebStresseser had been responsible for over 4 million DDoSDoS attacks in recent years. The service was supposedly run by a Serbian 19-year-old named Jovan “m1rk”” Mirkovic.”
