DBA Convicted of Hacking GEXA Energy

Steven Jinwoo Kim, 40, a DBA has been convicted of hacking his former employer GEXA Energy following his guilty plea to intruding into his employer s computer database system. The Japanese aerospace manufacturer said that starting in June, overseas unauthorized access to its servers may have compromised customer data. Peatix this week disclosed a data breach, after user account information reportedly began circulating on Instagram and Telegram. The cyberattack incident is the wireless carrier’s fourth in three years.
