Estonian hacker Aleksandr Suvorov has been sentenced to seven years in prison for his role in two hacking schemes that involved more than 240,000 stolen credit card numbers. He was an associate to Albert Gonzalez, who was convicted in the Heartland Payment Systems data breach. Gonzalez, based in Miami, sent malware to an unidentified co-conspirator in the Ukraine, who then provided the malware to the hacker. Gonzalez was also implicated in breaches at Hannaford Brothers, a grocery store chain in the northeast, and 7-Eleven.”]
