The number of U.S. data breaches tracked in 2014 hit a record high of 783. 2015 fell just two shy of tying the all-time high of 2014. The Identity Theft Resource Center released a list of those breaches that compromised more than 1 million records (see the full report) The list includes the most recent breach that breached more than one million records in the U.K. The list also includes breaches that breached over 1 million U.N. records.
