Dark Tequila Banking Malware Uncovered After 5 Years of Activity

Security researchers at Kaspersky Labs have uncovered a new, complex malware campaign. The campaign delivers an advanced keylogger malware that managed to stay under the radar for five years. Dark Tequila has been designed to steal victims’ financial information from online banking sites, as well as login credentials to popular websites. The malware gets delivered to victims’ computers in the first place either via spear-phishing or infected USB devices. The researchers say the campaign is still active and can be deployed in any part of the world.
