Oil and gas industry is unprepared for managing threats: only 37 percent of plants are monitoring for suspicious behavior, and over half experienced security breaches in the previous year. Companies can now centralize the cybersecurity function, much in the same way corporate structures facilitate other roles such as finance, marketing or legal.
