Cybereason, Rapid7 and Microsoft announced acquisitions this week designed to boost their security capabilities. Rapid7 announced it had purchased the external threat intelligence firm IntSights Cyber Intelligence Ltd. for approximately $335 million in cash and stock. Microsoft on Wednesday took a step to boost its cloud security and identity capabilities with the acquisition of CloudKnox Security. Meanwhile, DevOps security firm Sysdig made a move to add infrastructure-as-code security to its portfolio of security.
