Frederick Chang, the new head of the cybersecurity program at Southern Methodist University, says the time has come to create a “science of security” Chang is the former director of research at the National Security Agency. He says the field of cybersecurity today is very reactive and after the fact. He also stresses the need to take an interdisciplinary approach to creating a science of security.
