Craig Wright, an Australian computer scientist and businessman, has stated in a blog post and to the BBC that he is Bitcoin creator called Satoshi Nakamoto. In order to prove his identity, Wright used a special signature that is known to be only available to bitcoin creator Satoshi to sign a bitcoin message. For many this is proof that Wright is actually the creator, but for others it is not enough. Wright states he doesn’t want fame, adoration, or money, but he just wants to be left alone.
