Coronavirus Fears Lead to New Wave of Phishing, Malware

Cybercriminals are sending more phishing emails with this worldwide health emergency as a lure. The European Central Bank issued a letter warning financial institutions about increases in phishing and other related cybercrimes. The number of cyberthreats related to the new coronavirus, COVID-19, has grown enough over the last 60 days. As of Tuesday morning, over 4,000 people have died and more than 115,000 have been infected worldwide, a research team at Johns Hopkins University says.”]
