Conficker worm exploits Microsoft MS08-067 vulnerability

W32/Confick-A, also known as Conficker, is a new piece of malware that attempts to spread by exploiting this vulnerability. Microsoft released a security patch outside of its normal monthly cycle to fix the vulnerability. Its always better to do everything possible in advance of a piece of software that exploits the vulnerability in Microsoft Windows.
