Company Offers $1 Million for iOS Hack, Will Probably Sell It to the NSA

Zerodium will pay $1 million for a zero-day exploit in iOS 9 vulnerability. Founder of security firm Zerodium is infamous for selling exploits to repressive regimes. Zerodium founder is also infamous for founding French hacking firm Vupen, which specializes in buying up exploits and selling them to governments. After a sale, the company turns a blind eye to where its exploits end up and whether repressive regimes might be using them to spy on citizens. The company declined to identify any of Zerodium’s potential customers, but has previously revealed that they’re limited to certain government agencies.”]
