Common Admission Test (CAT) Site Hacked and this buzz makes IIMs website go offline!

IIMs admit they made web portal dysfunctional to prevent students accessing results ahead of schedule. Results scheduled to be released on January 12. Independent web portals and blogs claim some students had even downloaded result sheets. Students who claim they saw their scorecards said their marks were close to their expectations. IIMs dismissed speculation that the CAT website” had been hacked, but admitted late tonight that they had made the portal dysfunctional. Results are scheduled for January 12, 2010 CAT is due to be announced on January 20.
