Citrix Executive to Replace Sourcefire CEO

Citrix Systems head of worldwide sales and services at Citrix named John Burris as CEO. Sourcefire’s current CEO, Wayne Jackson, will step down July 14. Jackson had announced he would step down in late February. Jackson did not say why he was stepping down as CEO; Sourcefire has lost money since going public last year. The company is best known as the creator of the Snort intrusion-detection software Snort and is now working to integrate ClamAV antivirus software.”]
