Chinese Cyberthreats: The Impact on National Security

Chinese cyber threats pose a direct threat to U.S. national security, lawmakers and experts testify at a Senate hearing this week. The FBI estimates China steals $300 billion to $600 billion worth of intellectual property each year. Experts who testified recommended ramping up domestic tech manufacturing to curtail reliance on Chinese tech, updating legislation on foreign agent tracking and creating a public-private information-sharing organization to monitor Chinese security threats, they said.
