Check Point Software is expanding its security portfolio to include digital rights management. New products will protect data at rest and protect it from data loss loss. Check Point would not say how much it paid for the new products, but it is expected to go through immediately. The company has built alliances with other security vendors such as McAfee and Symantec to support its new products.
