Change.org victim of DDoS attack from China

Change.org has come under an ongoing DDoS attack originating from China. The site hosted a petition calling for the release of Chinese artist Ai Weiwei from custody. The petition has attracted almost 100,000 people from 175 countries. The FBI and U.S. State Department are looking into the DDoS attacks. This is the first time the site has been hit with such a cyber attack, founder Ben Rattray said. The attack started late Sunday and has nearly brought down the site, he said.”]
