I have over 27 years in IT, 20 of those in Security as Senior Mgr. and above (Dir., CISO). Additionally I have most of the required accreditations (CISSP, CISM, SIM) However I do not have a degree and have noted that many of the major companies (financial, insurance, utilities) are now asking that in liew of degree they will accept a high number of years experience. My question is should I still be looking at obtaining my degree or should I continue with creditations in other areas (eg. Privacy, Compliance)”]
