A pair of researchers have discovered a way to hack some Chrysler vehicles remotely. The hackers can control the steering and brakes, disable transmission and disable transmission. Fiat Chrysler last week released a patch that fixes the vulnerability. Lawmakers have begun to take notice of the security problems facing cars and other vehicles. Two Senators have introduced a new bill that would establish some minimum security and privacy standards for vehicles, one of the sponsors of the new bill says, “Drivers shouldn t have to choose between being connected and being protected”””
