BYOD: What Can We Learn from China?

Many U.S. companies take a narrow view of BYOD and don’t support Android devices. Chinese employees don’t want to carry around an additional corporate phone. Chinese companies use a more heterogeneous, browser-based approach to bring a sense of order to a sea of BYod smartphones. Many employees will sign the newly crafted BYOD policy without giving it much thought, which is a shame because they could be signing away their privacy rights.
