British tax payers struck by phishing scam

January 31st is the deadline for self-report forms to be filed with the HMRC. The phishing emails have been seen arriving from fake addresses such as refundtax.uk or taxrefundtax.org.uk. It is not surprising if people click on the link without thinking of the possible consequences of the email scam.
