British Airways Hack Exposes Hundreds of Thousands of Customer Payments

British Airways says 380,000 card payments were compromised on its website and mobile app. The company says it is working with a third-party to investigate the breach. The breach began late on August 21 and was interrupted on Wednesday evening. The airline says that travel and passport details were not part of the breach and that it’s working with law enforcement to find out what happened. The number of customers affected by the breach does not yet reveal how many were affected. The website is now working normally and affected customers will be contacted directly.”]
