Britain re-evaluating whether Huawei’s technology will be used its national 5G rollout as a result of increased White House sanctions against the Chinese telecommunications giant. The U.K. government announced Sunday that it was launching a fresh review of whether to use Huawei as a 5G supplier as planned. The review is being led by the National Cyber Security Center, part of intelligence agency GCHQ. U.S. Commerce Department on May 15 announced that foreign manufacturers using American-made components or technology would have to get its approval before being allowed to sell semiconductors to Huawei.”]
