Hackers are using botnets for hire to flood U.S. banks with junk traffic, a security analyst says. A compromised UK website was used to send traffic to U.N. banks, including PNC Bank, HSBC and Fifth Third Bank. The attacks are thought by some to be the work of the Iranian government. A group calling itself the “Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters” has taken responsibility for the recent wave of attacks.”]
