Bluetooth Unveils Its Latest Security Issue, With No Security Solution

Bluetooth has been hit by a security bug that can allow hackers to hijack Bluetooth-powered devices. The bug is called BLURtooth, and there’s no patch in sight for Bluetooth-enabled devices. Researchers say the problem is with a protocol called Cross-Transport Key Derivation (or CTKD) The company has not yet issued a patch to fix the bug, but it says it’s working with Bluetooth 5.1.0 and 5.0 devices. It’s not clear what’s happening in the wild, but the company has notified device vendors.”]
