Blackbaud: Hackers May Have Accessed Banking Details

Blackbaud: Hackers may have accessed some unencrypted fields intended for bank account information, Social Security numbers, usernames and/or passwords. The South Carolina-based software company now faces at least 10 lawsuits as a result of the incident. The company paid an undisclosed ransom to cybercriminals in exchange for them ensuring that any copies of the stolen data stolen were destroyed. The incident happened in May, with data exposed on nearly 10 million individuals in the U.S. healthcare sector alone.”]
