Rogue BitDefender 2011 is an abusively-called BitDefenders 2011 product. It is not a genuine product, but a fake product with a valid digital signature. The fake product is not compatible with the genuine Bitdefender Antivirus Pro 2011 or any other product released by the company. It also modifies registry entries associated to any browsers it finds installed on the system by setting the debug key to iexplorer.exe ds in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoft NTCurrentVersionImage File Execution Options.”]
