Bitcoin: Mitigating the Risks

Customers in the U.S. and Canada of the failed Bitcoin exchange Mt.Gox have agreed to a partial settlement of their class action lawsuits against the exchange. The plaintiffs in the lawsuits agreed to support a plan by Sunlot Holdings to buy the shuttered exchange and re-launch it. Robocoin, which developed the world’s first Bitcoin ATM, announced its ATMs will also soon serve as banks where consumers can store their Bitcoins. A collective of coders is planning to release an application known as Dark Wallet, which is designed to more strongly protect Bitcoin users’ identities.”]
