Beware of Tech Support Impersonators

Malwarebytes blacklisted a company that created a Twitter account and website to advertise for their tech support services. The scam is nothing less than a few lines of codes programmed to display fake error pop ups and scare the victim. Microsoft recently revealed that an estimated 3.3 million people in the U.S. will pay more than $1.5 billion to scammers this year alone. The practice is not new and many other brands have been abused before in that way, starting with Microsoft.”]
