The POODLE vulnerability was discovered last October. It’s a means by which attackers can intercept supposedly secure SSL communications between your computer and a website. Barclays, Halifax, Tesco and other banks have not received the memo, according to The Register. The Register reports that banks like Barclays and Halifax have not been warned about the vulnerability. The vulnerability has been described as ‘the poodle bug’ by some as ‘poodle bug’, but it has been reported that banks are not taking security seriously seriously.”]
