Bank of America is testing a pilot of contactless payments in New York. Michael Upton is the e-channels and customer solutions executive for BofA. Upton: “We are very focused on understanding our customers’ preferences around usability as it pertains to mobile payments and mobile banking” He says the pilot will test security measures, such as two-factor authentication, via the mobile channel. The pilot participants will receive an application — a mobile wallet — that will be pushed to them, and also be provided with an SD card.”]
