AVG tempts Antivirus Free users with cloud scranning

Antivirus firm AVG has launched its 2013 suite of security products. New interface designed to cope with touchscreen-driven world of Windows 8. Free users also get AVG Secure Search, a browser security layer and cloud file reputation service for anyone that opts in. Company claims reduced startup time (-26 percent) and better scan times (-36 percent) Free users get AVG’s anti-virus for Android version of the company’s standard antivirus suite and Secure Search (previously called LinkScanner)”]
