Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion is a feature that will automatically check Apple’s update servers on a daily basis to see if a security update is available. The feature will hopefully reduce the window of opportunity for malicious hackers to exploit any vulnerabilities in OS X. At its recent WWDC event, Apple revealed a similar feature at the end of the year.
