A sophisticated proxy code has infected hundreds of thousands of devices already. Researchers have identified a vulnerability in a Huawei home router model that is being exploited by an adversary to spread a variant of the Mirai malware called Mirai Okiru, also known as Satori. The vulnerability was identified by researchers at the start of a Huawei router model. The attack can be exploited to bypass DDoS mitigations and bypass the mitigability of the DDoS mitigation. The malware is being spread via a variant known as MiraiOkiru, or MiraiSatori, which has infected thousands of routers.”]
